Evie Group
Evie Group was founded in 2010 by designers Alex Gilmour and Dominic Chong. Originally established as a product design studio, their award-winning collections of homewares, lighting and furniture were known for refined simplicity and featured throughout media, exhibitions and retailers locally and internationally.
Over the last 16 years Evie Group has evolved into a contemporary design agency specialising in brand identity, art direction, presentation design, template systems and visual communications.
The team at Evie Group combines creative thinking with strategic execution to deliver work that is purposeful, adaptable and distinctive. Every project is shaped from brand foundations through to high-level considered design solutions that connect brands with their audience with clarity, creativity and strong visual impact.

With a passion for blending technical aspects of design with aesthetics, Dominic is a multidisciplinary designer with extensive industry experience in product design and graphic design. Prior co-founding Evie Group, Dominic worked in product design consultancy before moving into the corporate world as a Graphic/Presentation Designer and a Creative Art Director. Originally from Singapore, Dominic’s cross-cultural background allows him to generate unique ideas and an alternate outlook on design decisions.
Alex Gilmour

Alex’s passion for design lies in problem solving and creating branding and visual identity. Prior to co-founding Evie Group, her career has spanned graphic design, industrial design education at UTS, and production management and offshore manufacturing.
The launch of Evie Group saw Alex design the first Evie homewares collection, which caught the attention of renowned designer Marc Newson. This won her the Qantas SOYA 2010 Industrial and Object Design award coupled with an invaluable internship with Marc Newson in his London studio, further shaping her design perspective.
