Timber has been lightly sealed to protect the surface finish. Clean timber surfaces using a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove any dust or marks. Ensure pieces are left dry to avoid any moisture retention in the wood. Do not use abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals as this will scratch and ruin the wood.
Brass frames have a thin lacquer to protect the metal and maintain the age of the material. Brass can be cleaned with a soft polishing cloth to remove dirt and finger marks and create a bright polished finish. The nature of brass material will change colour overtime with age. This is not a product fault, but feature of the metal and the finish can be left to age if preferred.
We use handcrafted 100% Italian Carrara Marble. Created from a natural stone, pieces will contain unique variations in veining, colour, pattern and surface finish. This is not a product fault but feature of the stone. Marble, though heavy, is also a stone and may crack or chip. Please take care when using your products. Clean using a neutral cleaner, stone soap or mild soapy water. Do not use abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals. As marble is porous, ensure the product is dry after use with liquids or cleaning to prevent any water marks that may stain the surface. Be mindful when using with liquids, soaps, oils, acidic juices, vinegars and hot elements as these may damage the surface appearance causing discolouration, marks or stains.
